About Simon & How I Got Here
I’m Simon, born in 1989, I grew up in the countryside of Denmark. I always loved the countryside, but after University I got my first job at Accenture in Copenhagen, Denmark. During my time in Accenture, i travelled the world as a IT consultant. Today I’m living in Hong Kong with my wife and kid.
I have always been watching the stock market, however, never dared to start investing myself. I had several reasons, but mostly I was scared and knew nothing about how to invest.
In 2019, i stumbled upon the movement Financial Independence Retire Early, short is FIRE.
WHY I got interested in FI(RE)
Many things can be said about FIRE, I will explain more in my posts, but in short I saw an opportunity to simplify stock trading, secure my family financially, create my safety net, get control of my finances and lastly get more time for myself and my family.
Do I want to Retire Early?
The Movement Financial Independence Retire Early for me it is about becoming Financial Independent, and got little to do with Retiring Early. For me it is not attractive and life would be too boring without a job.

My Mission &
Vision
What’s my vision of retirement? If I don’t have a clear vision and a plan to make it happen, retirement and what it represents may remain an elusive dream. It could be like a road trip without a destination in mind.
Mission
The mission is straight forward. Me and my family have to become Financial Independence through investing large portion of my saving in stock market and eventually real estate.
Vision
Being able to live in our own house in Denmark or other places without the necessity to have a full-time job. Give my kids a bright future with a strong foundation financially. Leave this earth with a growing portfolio to my kids. Consistently grow my portfolio roughly 100k+ a year.
Values
It is important to set your values. This blog is all about transparency. I will aim to be as transparent as possible while I do my investments. Environmental stock trading and being conscious about the type of companies I invest in.
